Perishable cargo is no problem. Whatever its size or sensitivity, our experience will safeguard it for you, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition. We regularly import over 50 tons of delicate flowers each week and export anything from family pets to Jumbo jet engines!

Import/Export

Import
As fully accredited brokers we are linked directly to HM Customs & Excise, giving us the capability to transmit customs declarations swiftly & efficiently (often with clearance taking under half an hour). We are able to clear immediately any cargo that is transferred to our ERTS and can monitor and enter awkward shipments 24 hours a day.

Export
We specialise in offering the fastest and most efficient movement of cargo to any destination worldwide and are experts in air-freighting many types of commodities including time sensitive, valuable, out of gauge and emergency consignments. Contact us any time of the night or day.

Air Charter

We charter all types of aircraft for specific purposes, whether large projects, time-critical, or emergency consignments that cannot be carried on scheduled airlines. We regularly prepare freight and documentation for a C130 Hercules flying from Gatwick and other UK airports, often with hundreds of individual consignments. Bespoke manifests, airway bills and customs documentation are all specially designed.

From Cessna light aircraft to Antonov freighters, we supply the solutions.

Consolidations

For smaller consignments, consolidated cargo can be extremely cost effective. We will collect your cargo with our own transport, pack and deliver to the carrier for consolidation and onward transfer.

Dangerous Goods

The latest security measures mean that sending dangerous goods requires professional expertise. Many people are unaware that staff must undertake a five day 'Dangerous Goods' course and an examination, before they are allowed to undertake this work. Our fully qualified staff are capable of dealing with all types of dangerous goods such explosives, chemicals, batteries and all forms of restricted article.

Transshipments

For goods in transit from point of departure we can arrange easy, trouble-free onward transshipment to the point of delivery. As one of the few agents holding a full European Community Transit Bond (CT Guarantee) we organise Transshipments from all UK air and sea ports.

Aviation & Airline Support

We've built an enviable reputation in the field of aviation and airline support, particularly AOG, representing many large airlines and aviation companies where the urgent delivery of undamaged goods is vital. We specialise in the movement of aero engines and parts, providing solutions to time critical cargo and remaining available to support companies and airlines 24 hours a day.

 

Accompanied Baggage and Merchandise

We're permanently on call for 'Hand Carried' urgent delivery services for items such as time-critical medical supplies, materials and spares. Our special couriers carry cargo as hand baggage and we process all documentation to ensure safe delivery as quickly as possible.

MIB

Normally referred to as 'Merchandise in Baggage', or M.I.B., this service is designed to assist and help anyone travelling to or from abroad, carrying goods or merchandise of value, who requires Customs attention. If you wish your own personnel to accompany confidential, special or urgent cargo as M.I.B., our staff will meet and accompany them airside and deal with whatever customs clearance is required - right to the aeroplane if necessary!

Departures

We normally meet passengers at a prearranged point before departure. We prepare customs documentation on their behalf and, if required, can arrange to pay for tickets, excess baggage or obtain cash advances. We retain copies of all Customs documentation for proof of export when the passenger returns from their trip.

Arrivals

On arrival we meet passengers in the Red Channel of the Customs Hall and complete Customs Documentation or Clearance on their behalf. We can arrange to pay for any Import Duties or VAT which may be due and retain copies of any documentation for further reference by Customs for proof of import or returned goods.

Perishable

We specialise in the clearance and transportation of perishable goods, and regularly import over 100,000 kg's of flowers, vegetables and salads each week. We have regular consignments that arrive in Europe and are transferred to our facility for customs clearance.

We also have access to chilled and refrigerated vehicles, so cool-chain distribution is not a problem.

 

Packing

We are able to undertake every type of packing, whether it is for heavy cargo, personal and household effects, antiques or delicate items.
