Planning & Consultancy

We provide Planning and Consultancy services for those customers who need to overcome the complex transportation needs often experienced with major projects.

For major industrial, commercial or construction projects we provide Project Forwarding services for both one-off and contract services, ensuring materials and supplies are delivered and available when needed, without damage and without delay.

Exhibitions Many businesses sell internationally and Exhibitions are becoming increasingly more important in the global village. Transportation of exhibits and exhibition stands is a specialized business and requires extensive knowledge in many areas. Large consignments can be safely and efficiently handled on your behalf, including ATA Carnets, airfreight and delivery to your exact stand location. Using PBS will remove the worry from what can often be a stressful and time critical exercise.

Case History Let's Move our Factory to Korea! We were recently approached by one of our Clients who had decided to relocate a factory from London to Busan, in South Korea. All elements of the factory had to be professionally dismantled, packed and loaded into eight containers before shipping to Korea. This required seven staff and specialist industrial packers, including our on-site manager. Within two weeks of commencement we were instructed to ship a further seven container loads of equipment and materials. However, after four weeks, thanks to careful planning and forward thinking, as well as tremendous commitment from our staff, all fifteen containers were packed, loaded and safely en-route to Korea. To ensure a successful conclusion, great care and attention to detail were extremely important. Some equipment was unique and delicate, requiring reinforced crates and daily deliveries of special packing materials. Container loading times were critical and all containers needed to be carried on the same vessel to Korea to ensure that equipment could be unloaded and re-erected in the correct order.

Firearms

We have wide knowledge and experience in the transportation and shipping of all types of firearms and are one of the very few companies authorized to deal with prohibited weapons. Holding the Home Office Section 5 approved licence enables us to direct the movement of guns, sporting rifles, shotguns, ammunition, military rifles and restricted firearms.

Carnets

ATA Carnets are vital for the cross-border movement of goods, being internationally recognised customs documents issued by Chambers of Commerce across the world. The Carnet enables temporary import of goods without the need to raise guarantees for duty and also alleviates documentation procedures.

ATA Carnets are commonly used by almost all people or companies when transporting all types of merchandise, from hand carried items to full loads.

PBS regularly provides Carnet documents with a choice of 4-hour service, same day express service, or next day Carnet preparation service.

Consular Services

Whatever the nature of your business, we can organise the legalisation and endorsement of necessary documents such as certificates of origin etc., on your behalf. This service includes completion, courier delivery to Embassy or Chamber of Commerce where required, Re-collection after authentication and subsequent management of all freight requirements through to destination.
